What shipyards, shipowners and electrical contractors want to know before placing an order.
01How do you lay and label cables on board?
Each cable individually, to the cable list and drawings. We install trays and brackets, pull the cable, secure it with cable ties and label it. That way the shipyard knows later what runs where.
02Do you also handle termination and commissioning?
Yes. We connect to main switchboards and sub-distribution boards, test and record the results, and commission the system together with the shipyard or shipowner.
03Which special cables do you connect and test yourselves?
We splice fibre optic cables on board and measure them with OTDR. We test high-voltage cables before they are energised (HV test), and we connect coax and CAT7 ourselves as well. Every test goes into the test report.
04Do you weld brackets and penetrations yourselves?
Yes. Our welders, qualified to EN ISO 9606-1, weld brackets for cable trays, penetrations and earthing studs in steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
05Work package or personnel?
Both. We deliver a work package with our own crew and our own site managers. If your team needs reinforcement, we provide electricians through temporary staffing, with an AÜG licence.
