Mounting equipment and cabinets on shock mounts, as the specifications require.

Making up and connecting special connectors.
Marking to BV 3400
Marking cables and terminations to BV 3400.
Fibre optic cables
Splicing on board and measuring with OTDR, with test reports.
Refit
Replacing old equipment with new, e.g. on frigates.
Connection and testing
Connection to switchgear and distribution boards, testing and test reports.
Welding on board
Brackets, penetrations and earthing studs. Welders qualified to EN ISO 9606-1.
Precision, and staff with Ü2 clearance.
Shock mounting, S+E special connectors and marking to BV 3400. Over 100 employees with Ü2 clearance.

For work on naval vessels we only assign employees who hold the required clearance. Over 100 of our people hold Ü2. Before the start, we agree with you which positions in the project require Ü2.

01What is Ü2?
Ü2 is the extended security vetting under the German Security Clearance Act (Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz). Anyone working in certain areas on naval vessels needs it.
02How many of your employees hold Ü2 clearance?
Over 100. During planning you tell us how many positions require Ü2, and we put the team together accordingly.
03Do you handle shock mounting, S+E special connectors and marking to BV 3400?
Yes, with our own people. We also splice fibre optic cables on board and measure every fibre with OTDR.
04Do you also work on frigate refits?
Yes. We replace old equipment with new: strip-out, new cables, connection, testing and test reports.
