Services

What we do on board.

On board

From cable tray to acceptance.

Electrician installing a cable tray under the deckhead of a ship
Service · cable trays

Trays and supports.

We install cable trays and supports across all decks, to the drawings and securely fixed.

Electricians pulling cables along a cable tray
Service · cable pulling on board

Every metre counts.

Cable pulling, fixing, marking. Each cable laid and labelled individually, fibre optics tested with OTDR.

Electrician terminating cables in the main switchgear
Service · switchgear termination

Connected. Measured.

Every outgoing circuit labelled, every measurement in the test report.

Acceptance test at the switchgear with the shipyard and class
Service · commissioning and acceptance

Switched on. Signed off.

We commission the system together with the shipyard and class. Every test goes into the report.

High voltage · terminated in-house

High voltage. In three steps.

We terminate high-voltage cables ourselves. First connect, then test, then energise. Every step recorded.

Fitter tightening the cable lugs on the red cable terminations
01 · Connect

The high-voltage cables are fitted with their terminations, then landed and tightened in the switchgear panel.

High-voltage test with the area cordoned off and the test set in place
02 · Test

The HV test comes before energising. The area is cordoned off and the readings go into the test report.

Fitter in a protective suit energising the panel
03 · Energise

Energising is done in protective equipment. The panels show they are in service, and the test report is complete.

Refit · Navy · fibre optics · megayacht · ashore · offshore

Here too, we are on board.

Electrician rewiring the old console on a ship's bridge
Service · bridge refit

Old kit out. New kit in.

Bridge refit: the old system comes out, new cables are laid, connected and tested. The equipment is supplied by the manufacturer or the shipyard.

Two fitters boarding a ship at the naval base
Navy · access with clearance

Access with Ü2 only.

More than 100 of our employees hold Ü2 security clearance. We carry out shock mounting, S+E special connectors and marking to BV 3400 ourselves.

Hands placing an optical fibre in a fusion splicer
Service · fibre optics

Spliced. Measured.

We splice fibre optic cables on board and measure every fibre with OTDR. The result goes into the test report.

Lounge of a megayacht during fit-out, cables in the open deckhead
Megayacht · before interior fit-out

Before that, we were everywhere.

Cable trays, cable pulling, termination and testing. Behind deckheads and panelling, before the interior fit-out closes them up.

Electrician hanging a high-bay luminaire in a new hall on the shipyard, the hall brightly lit
Ashore · shipyard and industry

Ashore too. Halls under power.

We do not only work on board. We also carry out the electrical installation in industrial halls and workshops: cable trays, lighting, sub-distribution boards.

Offshore converter platform at dusk, wind turbines at sea behind it
Offshore · converter platform

For the energy transition.

Power from the sea. The electrics of these platforms are installed at the shipyard, and we are on board there too.
